Danae is involved in her family business in shipping, tourism and travel (Navigator Shipping Consultants, Kefi Tours, Matilda Hotel Zakynthos). And she’s taking her family business to the next level. One of her important achievements is the organization of the annual Navigator congress that brings together Decision Makers and is considered to be one of the biggest shipping events in Greece. She was selected as a European Young Leader “40 under 40” for 2014 and is also one of the Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum (2015-2020). In 2011 she represented Greece in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) “Women In Leadership” organized by Hillary Clinton in USA amongst 100 women from 92 countries. She is an active founder and/or member of various associations such as the 1st Hellenic U.S. Alumni Association of the State Department, the think tank “The Canvas – Debating Business ideas”, the Open Mind Group, YES to shipping. Danae holds a Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Surrey. She has one daughter.
